I immediately started reading this when I realized it was the first book in the Beck Sisters series, and WOW. The opening to this was gut wrenching and I was sobbing in the first chapter. The grief and moving on was written so raw that it was palpable. I loved that Anna learned how to live without Ben and that her grief was able to live alongside her happiness. It was such a beautiful ending!

I agree with other reviews that some moments felt juvenile and repetitive, but it's a romcom so I'll let it slide. I think this was a cute enemies to lovers story and I adored the pranks they pulled on each other, I felt the sparks between Molly and Jude big time. This is my first time reading anything by this author and I was pleasantly surprised.

I love the small town vibe! The cast of characters were great, the magic was wonderful, and I loved the friendship! This was a unique cozy mystery and I will definitely read more by this author!

I was so happy to get approved for this book! The ending could've been better and I think our characters could've been fleshed out more, but this was so sweet! It gave me the warm and fuzzies and it felt real and relatable!

Thankfully, this was much better than Funny You Should Ask, but, it fell flat for me. I'm not the biggest fan of second chance romance and the whole cheating thing just gave me the ick and I could mot root for this couple. Also. It got a little hard to keep up with the different timelines. That being said, it was a quick and interesting read, it just isn't for me.

This started off strong, it was weird, unique, and atmospheric. The plotline of this cultist program that everyone seems to remember with no evidence was so eerie. However, there wasn't enough detail about the cult itself, nothing was super fleshed out, and the end was just confusing. The story was 2 stars but I'm giving it 3 for the creativity.

It's definitely slow paced and I was growing frustrated, but it picked up about halfway and got better. The writing and world building is beautiful and unique and I found myself wanting to keep reading all night. It's the kind of story where you're iffy about it but then you think about it for days afterwards.
