Not for me! To be transparent, I did DNF at 45%. I didn't like Olivia or any of the characters and I definitely couldn't connect with them. I was hoping for a cute romance on a cruise ship and some good ol' figuring out who you are....no. This was just lacking in every possible way.

This is somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. It's just okay but a lot of it felt forced. I didn't particularly like Claire but I did like seeing her grow through the book and figure herself out. The romance was so unbelievable I had secondhand embarrassment.

It was okay. I didn't realize this was second in a series and it didn't seriously hinder me from understanding the story so that was nice. The comedy was on point. Honestly, it wasn't bad but it didn't stand out to me. Not my cup of tea but it had its moments.

I really appreciate and enjoyed the LGBTQ+ rep in this cozy mystery! I don't think I've read a cozy with LGBTQ rep and it was great! I also loved the change up of the main character - this was the first time I've read a cozy where a man was the MC! Other than that. I loved the mystery and twists and I wasn't able to figure out the killer before the end so that was great too.

It was definitely just okay. I didn't find the story to be particularly unique or anything. It was another cutesy romance that was entertaining, but I also didn't really feel the sparks between our two main characters?? I think the romance was just lacking a little something.

First off, I love books with a New York setting. Secondly, I love a good, wholesome story about friendship and coming of age. I also loved how each chapter was narrated by a different friend, you got to see them from different perspectives but this author also did a wonderful job of giving each person their own unique personality.

This was such a beautiful story. It's so easy to connect with Ebony and relate to her grief. The story felt so real, the details were great. I fell in love with this book from the first page.

This book was so wholesome, relatable, and heartfelt. I knew I would like it because I love Katherine Center but WOW I devoured this! I loved the mentions of topics (and TW needed) for suicide, grief, absentee parents...they're such real issues and they were talked about in a way that didn't feel forced. Probably one of the best Katherine Center books!
