The cover is so gorgeous but as with a lot of fantasy lately, it just didn’t pull me in! Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes ever so I did like that and I loved the uniqueness of the story! I just wish I felt more for the characters!
I’m pretty picky with contemporary but I loved the writing and dialogue in this. It felt a little young to me which I feel like would be absolutely perfect for teens!
This series has been so much fun! Each book gets better and more entertaining! I love Cudney's writing and the way he can put the unexpected into his stories!
I've loved seeing the character growth in all the characters in each book! Kellan is such a likable character and being in his head is the best! And nothing can come easy for my boy! I also seriously love the sweet moments between Kellan and April, even though they have a lot of chaotic things going on!
There was a certain scene of bickering between Nana D and Kellan that had me laughing out loud too! I'm serious when I say this needs to be a Netflix series already! Cudney also knows how to write cliffhangers dang good, leaving me yearning for the next book!

I’ve read all of Duell’s books and this one has to be my favorite! When I read retellings, I like for them to have an original spin on it! And this had that! Also, it’s based on Thumbelina which I haven’t read any other retellings on!
What I liked best about this story was that it’s set in the 1930s! It’s very character driven with a touch of wonderful and hypnotic magic! Lina was easy to relate to and you could see her really grow as a character because of the predicament she was in!
I also seriously loved Nik and Christian and following this wonderful journey of these characters! Also, I’ll just say that the ending gave me a bucket full of emotion!

This was a fast paced read that I thoroughly enjoyed! There was some weird, some great writing, and wonderful world building.
Loved it! I loved the multiple POVs and the interesting and unique world the author has created here! The dark aspects are especially intriguing!
The writing was on point and I can’t get enough of these characters! Expect some awesome twists and turns! I can’t wait to read the final book!

What a unique and interesting world! I loved the whole world drowned by water concept! It had a tinge of Waterworld but a hundred times better!
These characters! I especially loved Lor. He had so much guilt going on and he just needed some love! Elysea was seriously a wonderful side character! She was sweet, genuine, and unselfish! Tempe, you couldn’t help but feel for her, especially after being alone for the past two years and struggling to survive!
I swear, Scholte has the coolest worlds, best twists, and excellent writing! I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve next!

What a fun little book! Food that kills ... literally!
When I read a Maas book, I always know I’m going to be in for a fun time! And this one did not let me down! However, it did take me a little longer to get into and love the characters! But that last 150 pages had my heart!
Bryce was an interesting character because she may have seemed superficial at first, but underneath her there’s so much more! Sometimes you just have to find the right person who can chip away at those hardened layers!
And oh dear lord, Hunt! Loved him! He was definitely like a mirror of Bryce! Both have been through so much pain and grief! I really liked the chemistry between the two of them!
At first, I just felt claustrophobic with so many fantasy and paranormal creatures thrown my way at one time. But as the pages turned, I really did fall in love with this world! There was plenty of action and surprises and I’m excited to see what happens next!
