I had been putting this one off to read for a while. This, was a big mistake! First, the whole Anastasia retelling thing was pretty awesome. Also, if you liked Cinder, I'm pretty sure you'd like this! If you didn't like Cinder, I'd still read it!

There are four main characters, and I loved Di, Jax, and Robb! I didn't connect with Ana as much as I did with the others, but it didn't take away from the story one bit! Plus, the romance between both couples was awesome! The friendship and family bond was just on point, too!

There's plenty of spacey action, me gripping my heart at times, and a lot of fun stuff happening! The book does end on a huge cliffhanger. And I'm patiently tapping my fingers together as I wait for a release date! Also, anything written by Poston is going to be an auto buy from me!

I loved this one just as much as Tithe! I like how we get a sort of collision with Luis from book two and get to learn more about him. Also, loved him and Corny!

Kaye has really grown as a character. She is strong and brave and fierce, and I love her, too! I wish there would have been more of Roiben, but the scenes that he was in were awesome!

Again, Holly Black has created such a magnificent world where character's feel real because they may not be a hundred percent likeable yet are! Highly recommend this series.

When I heard one of my favorite side characters ever, Luc, was getting a spinoff series I was so freaking ecstatic. He was just so weirdly awesome in the Lux series.

As with any Armentrout book, there was incredible angst, swoon, and action. But what I loved here was the story. There were some great twists. One I knew super early on, and I was so excited about it!

Luc is seriously the best character. His shirts are awesome, his attitude is awesome, and his fight for things he loves is awesome! There were moments where I wanted to shake Evie, but I understood a lot of her feelings and why. Also we get to see some characters from the Lux series!!

The ending was perfect. It isn't a cliffhanger, but there are still questions that I can't wait to be answered in book 2! I'm seriously fangirling over this one!

At first this had a Juno vibe but then it got a little more serious with things going on in today’s world. I tend to like to escape from that, and there was a lot of stuff thrown in. But I did really like Leaf!

Not exactly sure what the heck I just read and am still totally confused. However, I do see this as a movie being directed by my man Guillermo Del Toro and I would totally watch it!

At first when I read the blurb I saw mobsters and con artists and was like, I don't know man, that doesn't sound good. I've loved everything else so far by Holly Black, so I was like, well, let me go ahead and take a chance on this. Plus, what a weirdly cool title. And I LOVE weird things!

Cassel was so awesome, and it felt nice to read a whole book from a guy's perspective. Also, he seemed like a real teen boy. And the magic system? Very interesting with the whole we-have-to-wear-gloves-thing. It's one of the best urban fantasies I've read!

There are some pretty great twists, and that freaking ending! Oh man, I need to start the next book. Seriously!

Love the cover and love the name Tanzy! If I had another kid, I might've actually named her that! Also, she loves horses! Who doesn't love horses? They are mystical and magical and awesome!

I really liked the writing in this one! It wasn't over the top or not enough—it was the perfect blend of what needed to be said. After Tanzy's father is killed in an accident, things pick up right away. Tanzy has questions along the way and you kind of guess with her as she isn't sure about a lot of things.

I'm already ready for the next book and to learn more about the worlds and get more of Tansy!

An excellent sequel indeed! Makes me want to go out and get me some red gloves to parade around in!

Cassel is definitely one of my favorite male characters ever! He makes wrong choices, a lot, but he's so dang likable—I want to squeeze his cheeks! Of course, Lila got worked in the previous book, so Cassel doesn't know if he can trust himself around her because her feelings for him he doesn't believe them to be real. It's a mess of feelings, and an addicting one!

Also his brother, Phillip, is dead, so it's quite the mystery to figure out how he ended up that way. And the freaking ending! Another cliffhanger to where I have to read the next book! Loved it! And the magic system is just so cool!

Mary is my absolute favorite NA contemporary author. Her books are always quirky, swoony, and awesome! This one was just as great as the others! Loved Bethany and Brent! I especially loved being inside Bethany’s head because she had some hilarious thoughts! Also cameos from other characters!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

First, finally a NA book that isn't revolved around men's abs! I loved the college setting, too. It was like if Buffy were in college with Xander and Willow, but instead of vampires it was a unique spirit type of world!

Brenna was an awesome MC. She was funny and sarcastic and not annoying! Can I just also say that my favorite character was Damon! I want to keep him in my pocket and carry him around with me along with his awesome personality!

Loved the descriptions, the world, and the writing! I love things that are dark, feel real, and still have a bit of humor and that's exactly what this book is! I need to know what happens next and I can't wait to read book two!!
