Erin Watt has such entertaining books. This one was the deepest and possibly my favorite. A guy accidentally killed a girl's sister and three years later she falls in love with him. How could that ever work out?
I loved Beth, really loved her. The way she grieved felt real because it was basically the way I have grieved over deaths. Just because one isn't a huge crier doesn't mean they are affected any less inside their heads.
Chase, Chase, Chase. I wanted to shake him ... a lot! What happened was horrible but it wasn't on purpose. And he needed hugs ... a bunch of them. But from Beth's parents perspective I get it, that was their other baby. But from an outside perspective it's much easier to see both sides of the coin.
This book was not full of lust like a lot of their other books. It was one that made me think, gave me emotions, and as hard as it is sometimes to do—forgiveness is the best option. If these two authors could write something like this together, I can't wait to see what they have next!

To start off, I am so picky about super hero things. I literally only like X-Men. But, a bit BUT! This one sounded super cute and really good.
What I liked best about this book is how character driven it was. Iron Phantom was such an interesting character, and although I already knew who he was, it was still very much a mystery.
The swoon aspects were on point. I absolutely loved the discussions between Abby and Iron Phantom, and I could really feel their spark. If you like super hero stuff, then you're in luck! Because there was that too! Overall a fun and swoony read!!

Contemporary is always tricky tricky for me because most of them I just can't truly get into. However, this book had me coming up with all kinds of emotions—aww, I want to throw this book at the wall, these characters are stressing me out, puppy dog eyes, and more!!
Yes, for all you love triangle haters, usually me included, there is one—but it makes sense. You know right off the bat who Rayne likes. And it makes you think well, sometimes you just meet the wrong person first, and instead of stay with them, there should be a way to change that—even if it's his brother.
Gage was pretty awesome, and I loved the chemistry between him and Rayne. Preston, I went back and forth with that boy! Actually, there were aspects all throughout the story where all the characters were stressing me out! And this was good stressing out! Because I prayed and hoped the journey would end well, but I just never knew! I'll keep the spoilers out!
Overall, a great book and loved the addiction of it. I'd love to read more from this author and can't wait to see what she does next!

I can’t do it! This has nothing to do with Shakespeare or his lovely writing. I just can’t ever understand it! I think if I were to watch the movie and see a visual I would know what was going on!!
Not long ago, I read Father Figure but Cudney, and after, I just knew I had to read Watching Glass Shatter! They are both very different books, but equally as good! Also this one had some interesting secrets!
What I liked best about this book is it is very character driven. I'm sure I've said this numerous times but those are my favorite kind of books. There were a lot of POV's, and I've read books where the personalities feel too much the same or that they are there for no reason. But like Six of Crows (completely different genre), they perfectly fit in the puzzle of this novel.
I felt for the mom, Olivia, especially. As a mother, sometimes I think I'm doing things not enough or that I could have done things better. But no mother is a hundred percent perfect, we try our best because, and each day is a learning curve. And I loved her character!
There was a choice between Zach Glass and another character that most people would want to whip out the witch hunt torches for, but sometimes, things happen. As long as it isn't a repetitive circle I believe people should be forgiven.
Overall, this was such a dang addicting read that I finished it way quicker than expected. I will say there is a particular chapter that made me tear up! Cudney just knows how to brings out all kinds of different emotions with his books. I need his next book already!

Ever since I saw this lovely cover, which by the way is one of my favorites of the year, I have been anxiously waiting to read it!
First what I loved is the girl is like 30 or shall I say woman! It's so hard for me to find Adult or NA books that interest me because most of the time they are just contemporary AB-stomach books or a bunch of descriptions that I don't care about! Thank goodness for this book! Finally, an adult story that held my interest with great writing! And can I just mention the name Gideon!
So James McAvoy probably isn't who the author had in mind for what she imagined Gideon to look like, but he's always who I think about when reading the romantic interest in books! I loved Gideon because there's so much to him and I wanted to discover who he is!
Isabeau was a great character, too! And thankfully, not annoying! She grows through the book and the dream sequences were awesome! Honestly, I've never read a book that dealt with this type of magic—it felt incredibly unique!
Also, there are some words you may not know how to pronounce, but fear not, there's a glossary in the back! FYI, there is a cliffhanger, and yes I need the next book. Now!

I wanted to read this anthology because I’ve read Amber R. Duell’s Fragile Chaos and the novella, and I love her writing! Her story did not let me down and was my favorite!
Another reason I wanted to read this was because of mermaids! Mermaids! All the authors had unique stories that sucked me right in. K.M. Robinson’s two tales also had great character depth!
Overall, fun, quick read, and full of mermaids in a different way than you might have imagined!
