First off everyone needs to contain their horses. I mean it’s a freaking YA horror book here, if you think you were going to get thoroughly creeped out, then you probably should have shot your way over to the big guns like Stephen King or Clive Barker. I for one don’t get scared with books or horror flicks, so I can’t say whether this was scary or not. I will say the character development was my favorite part, and I absolutely loved the cute romance. Plus, yes, there is gore descriptions which worked well! Also, put in Perkins’ quirky humor and writing which made that awesome as well.

If you were expecting some epic killer reveal like Saw (the first one) or Scream, then you should prob go somewhere else. My only real problem was that the killer was revealed halfway throughout the book. Another thing was Makani’s backstory wasn’t even bad. I do wish there would have been a small epilogue, but the book was still fun!

Got milk? No, got goats. But goats do produce milk. 🐐

Hands down the worst book i’ve ever read. I didn’t get it. But it could just be me.

I needed more goblins! Goblin Power!

I really liked the first half, but then I’m not sure what exactly happened. I am a serious Labyrinth fan, so I guess I expected something different. The writing was really pretty, though. I guess no one can beat David Bowie as a Goblin King!

Uhhhhhhh... That’s all I have to say. But I wouldn’t mind a society where we all dress up Marie Antoinette style. 😂😂✊🏻

I hate made up curse words, and this book was a yoyo of cliches. I am more mad at myself for buying the book instead of just getting it from the library!

Extremely beautiful writing. I loved Love, and Andrew was so sweet. I loved the other characters like Anger and Wonder. I also liked how Eros was a female and not a male. Even though the romance between Love and Andrew was amazing, I kind of wanted her with Anger! Anger definitely needs his own book!

This is one of the slowest books I have ever read! 😱 Just. So. Slow. The author can write well, but this was probably the first time ever I have fallen asleep while reading a book...

I was really hoping this one would have the whole gothic vibe, but I won’t put any spoilers. I read very few adult romances because I get bored. But, I can read Armentrout’s books and generally stay focused. As always the romance was great, but I have to be honest here, Lucian creeped me out a lot with the whole “Ms. Hughes.” I mean, she’s not seventy here! Most of Armentrout’s males are always dominant, but this guy was just I don’t know... he did grow on me, though.

My favorite aspect was actually the mystery and the atmosphere of what was going on with Lucian’s sister, mysterious footsteps, etc. I wish there would have been more of that. Now, I did guess early on what was going on, but it didn’t affect my likeness of the book.

Julia was a strong character, and I liked her independence. The other two brothers were pretty interesting. And I know Gabe’s book is next, but I was really hoping it would have been Devlin, because I really want to be in his head! Overall, it was a good read!
