That Darkling is crazy!

I loved it!

Heck freaking yeah! The girl with the green ribbon is still the best today as it was back when I was a tiny little first grader who got this book out of the Scholastic catalog.

This one was hard to rate. It is not a fast paced book at all, but a slow and powerful build. I really liked the beginning and the different characters, I had to get used to the characters names and how there were like all these different names for one person. When the priest comes into town, it really slowed the book down for me up until I got to about 65% on my Kindle. The book finally picks up, and I couldn't put the book down. I really wish there would have been more to the ending because it kind of just cuts off. The writing was well done. I loved Vasya, Alyosha, and Irina. This was an excellent follow up to the first book! I liked it just the same, or maybe better! There was more of Vasya in this one, which I was excited to see. Nothing stands in her way when she wants to do something, and sometimes this can cause consequences. It all makes her appear more human, though. The sibling bond between her, Sasha, and Olga felt perfectly real. Loved them! My main pet peeve was that there wasn't enough of the Frost Demon. I want to know more about Morozko because he is amazing! The writing, setting, and action were all on point! I can't wait for the next book!! Henrietta is too fickle over too many pickles! I'm not a fan of love squares, I can barely tolerate a love triangle... But, I love this world! I love the descriptions of the beasts that Cluess describes as well as her writing! The sorcery and the magic!!! Give me more!

Now, back to Henrietta. She got on my nerves... a lot! Mainly because she claims to love Rook, but he was in the background again, which was fine! But as soon as Magnus or Blackwood are in the room, it's like he's all forgotten! Plus her lying! I can't stand characters that aren't honest with people they "claim" to trust!

As for other characters... I loved Magnus! I really loved the new character Maria! She was all kinds of awesomeness! The battle scenes were excellent, and I really want my own staff! I need to know what is going to happen in the next book already!! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/09/15/review-a-poison-dark-and-drowning/

This book was freaking amazing! Maybe because I love looking at cookies! Show me a picture of a cookie, and I literally want to eat the paper! There were also good tips on how to prepare and store! Also, they had some diverse cookies... Hungarian, Mexican, Italian, Dutch!

This was a pretty fun book! I will say I could have done without the made up curse word "frex"

Also the love interest was drunk pretty much most of the book! This is still one of the better space YA books I have read, though.

Got approved for this on Netgalley. Why do they not say ahead of time if something is PDF only??? When I read off the Ipad, I get a migraine after like reading ONE page. I need it for my Kindle!!!! Oh, well, suffer I must.

Loved the stories in this! Can we have another epilogue? The epilogue was awesome, but I still want more! Especially with Cress and Winter!!

Loved the dark aspects and the ending!
