I haven't read a good dystopian book in a while, so I was ready to read this one after I read the summary! It's told in dual perspective between Roman and April, and I actually loved both characters and the chemistry between them was perfection! I was surprised that I read it as quick as I did because I normally read dystopian pretty slow! The book was totally addicting with plenty of feels, and I need book two ASAP!

I absolutely loved this book! It was everything I could have wanted and more! The atmosphere in Howards's books is always written so beautifully and magically. The characters feel real, and the pages are addicting. There's romance, action, mystery, that had me enthralled. I think this is her best book to date, and I can't wait to read the next one! I still liked book one more, but this was a fun ride! The question is, is the killer an immortal or someone pretending to be.

My favorite character is Thomas! Love him and his personality! There were some pretty interesting and grotesque stuff that was awesome! Some of the book lagged in the middle, and when Audrey got mad at Thomas, it was ridiculous for the reasons. There was a twist that I was not expecting. I can't wait for book 3! Easton is a whole different ball game of a character. He's complex and has issues that make him seem utterly real, even though there are times when you want to slap him. But there are times where you want to hold him and whisper that it will all be okay! Hartley is likable, but also I was frustrated with her at times! I didn't know what was ever going on in her head, since the book is told in Easton's POV only. However, I know they would be amazing together! Now, that freaking ending?? I knew there would be a cliffhanger but not that!!! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/08/22/review-fallen-heir/

I'm starting the Dorothy Must Die series as a group read, so I'm starting some of these novellas. I started Tin Man first since he is one of my fave characters from Wizard. This Tin Man here is obsessive. His obsession over Dorothy interferes with what he should really be doing. This novella is dark and shows what obsession can do to a person, or in this case, The Tin Man!

I normally dislike the Wizard. Especially when James Franco portrayed him. Anyway, after this novella, I still think the Wizard is an idiot of a character. The story however was good! He apparently never left Oz and lost his memories. We find some things out about him, and I guess i'll have to see what is to come next!

I've only read Heart of Tin, but this is my favorite so far! I loved Jellia! Glinda is a real piece of work!

This one was really good! Interesting characters mixed with drama, mingling in some back story!!

Again, back to Return to Oz (the movie), which I loved Mombi in it. Collecting heads? Awesome! That doesn't happen here, though. Anyway, I'm going off course here. But I love the character, Mombi, and this novella did not let me down. It is told in two parts between Mombi and Pete, and it was pretty darn interesting uncovering things about these characters!
