I initially thought of not reading this book. But the blurb was too interesting for me to avoid. Even after I got the book, I kept it pushing until I had no choice but to read. Oh boy! I'm glad that I read this book.
This book had such a soothing tone that made me yearn more for it. There is a nice cosy beach setting, a girl with a fiance who is a jackass, the same girl with a mother who died revealing a secret and then a multitude of events that led to a discovery.
When I read the first few chapters I thought the story is too predictable. But boy oh boy! It's not predictable at all. I made myself a fool while predicting things. But I enjoyed it the most.
What I loved the most apart from Maui is the journey of Quinn to rediscover herself. She did everything to break the mould that is expected of her. She was brave with facing her fears and she was confident enough to break her decade long engagement. I loved every single thing.
This is a book you read when you are not feeling good. Overall, I recommend it to all people who needs an easy but interesting read.

Totally absurd. I have a love and hate relationship with this book. I can't write a review that is not rambling.
When a mother regrets her life choices when it comes to her children, what she'll do? What if it's too late?
Here the mother, Margaret regrets everything she did with her 2 younger children, she tries to set things right. It was too late to save her marriage but she can salvage whatever relationship she has with her younger daughter.
I liked the characters and the writing was fluid. But I loved the theme of this book. While reading this book I realised that how parents are important in a child's life. How everything a parent does impacts the child.
Since I read an ARC copy, I identified a few mistakes which can be edited. Overall it's a good book which talks about the importance of parenting.
Thank you, NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC.

This book is one family saga with romance and a happy ending. This book talks about many things from emotional and sexual abuse to family politics.
All the elements of the story were well developed and I liked the writing style of the author. The pace of the story was quick enough to not get bored.
The only thing I liked is the ending which I felt cliched. But other than that it's a good one time read and I recommend to all romance fans.
