okay first of all, major heavy rain vibes.

second, DAMN i couldn’t put this book down, especially near the end. surprisingly good, i’m not all into thrillers but this one was so well done!! the main character was interesting and it was a really fun read :)

i listened to the audiobook and it was pretty good but i feel like these thrillers r so formulaic. pretty guessable who did what tbh.. i’m tired of the “abusive partner, protagonist rises from the ashes” trope. it gets very old with these sorts of books.
