The Witcher meets the last of us meets mythology?? Sign me UP!!

Honestly was thinking about giving this a 2.5 but decided to round it up because parts of this book I genuinely liked. I loved how descriptive this book was, I thought the setting and actual plot of the book was pretty good! I love anything mythology related and usually enjoy fantasy books based on myth/gods, but this just fell a bit flat for me.

The main character wasn’t likeable for me. I thought she was pretty two dimensional, and the love interest wasn’t anything to talk about. I was actually more interested in the side characters more than I was about the MC and her love interest. I don’t think I vibed with the writing style, although the language in the book was gorgeous at times, I feel as though everything happened so quickly and there was a LOT going on that it felt rushed.

Im not very good at writing reviews but I got around 40% through this book and knew I wasn’t gelling with it, so had to get it off my chest lol
