I enjoyed this but don't think it was as amazing as a lot of reviews and critics have said. 

This left me with a lot to think about. I definitely cried a little at the end. 

Good for her
A strong debut novel - my pre-order arrived this morning and its 10pm and I've finished it. A book that draws you in and keeps you there. Fun, fast and violent 

That was a car crash I couldn't tear my eyes from 

Had me in the first half, completely lost me when the entities became more physical and it tried to make a central plot 

A quick, fun read. 
Good tension at the start and the second half was gorey and gross (in a good way) 
I enjoyed this but it didn't really leave an impact 

Her special interest is convenience store. I hope she got a job at the store she visited at the end and went back to be happy in her routine, society be damed. 

Just noting - I'm not sure why many reviews (like the ones on the cover of the edition I read) said this was funny. I thought it was fairly serious, just the main character is a bit quirky. Are we saying it's funny because she's probably autistic? Idk man, if you thought this book was "hilarious" you might be ableist 

A piss soaked fever dream

The writing was a disgusting yet beautiful sensory experience but nothing really happened plot wise. 

I might not be bright enough to appreciate this one 

For a short book, this was a bit slow to get going. It wasn't bad exactly but didn't hit the spot - wasn't as intense or as interesting as I was expecting 

I can't pin point why I loved this so much.

We don't get a lot of answers from this book and the memory sequences were repetitive. 

Despite that, the descriptions were so haunting, I stared in the mirror afterwards imagining spider legs erupting from my brain. 

Not much creeps me out or stays in my thoughts long after I read it, but this did it
