Highlights:
I love marriage of convenience stories and this being sapphic as well made me super excited to read it. Ruby and Yvonne had amazing chemistry. I really liked that there was a deeper reasoning for Yvonne needing the money. A rich woman just wanting to screw her half brother over is fun but wanting the funds to aid her former nanny who she truly cares for really added dept to her "cold" character. Ruby was interesting. I found her plot-line around her finding herself and healing to be very well done.

Lowlights:
I think I need to accept that the cold love interest learning to love isn't an archetype I enjoy. It's wrong to compare Yvonne to Alex from Twisted Love but they both fall in that cold ceo category that exhausts me.

Highlights:
I immediately loved Jacob and Murry's black cat and golden retriever dynamic they had going on. They both really cared about and understood each other. This was such a cute story! I also loved the art style and color palette used.

Highlights:
The world building in this is incredible. It's interesting and fleshed out and doesn't feel exposition-y. The entire plot with the Queen and the politics surrounding that was incredibly interesting. I loved Ivy and Ketahn together. I'm a big fan of alien romance and they were hitting all my favorite tropes. I loved how they teased each other even when they couldn't understand each other well.

The Good
Georgianna and Daniel had amazing chemistry. So good infact, Daniel loses his memory but still remembers making out with her. Daniel is a rake with a capitol R. Georgianna is independent but also cares deeply about her and her siblings reputation. I think this concept was really unique and fun. The chemistry is the real highlight of this book. It was written extremely well and it lit fire to the metaphorical pages.

The Bad
Even though it was fun, I feel like the plot in general was a bit convoluted and the duke was not likable to me once he regained his memories.

The Good
Fake dating is always going to be fluffy and delicious every-time! I loved both Retta and Duncan. Their chemistry was insane and I loved reading them fall for each other. I liked that there weren't any unnecessary extra drama or miscommunications happening for the plot and it was cute and simple.

The Bad
In the last act of this book the word "profession" is used multiple times instead of using "confession" and it really irked me. Like, I understand you "profess your love" but I've never seen a love confession be called a profession before.

“Trying to convince me that you’re not a monster?” she asked darkly. “No,” he murmured. “I would never lie to you, my love. But I am trying to convince you that a monster is just what you need.”

Highlights:
Talia Hibbert shifter romance?! I had to give it a read. I found the set up for this book to be really fun and tension filled. Luke thinks he's trying to seduce his very shy mate while she is actually comes from a family of hunters and she want him to be her first kill. I liked that the werewolves weren't harmless or misunderstood. Luke was dangerous and a monster but he wasn't evil. The tension between Luke and Chastity was incredible. I loved their banter with each other and the games they played. It got really sweet at the end which I really loved!

The Good
Phoebe and Grace are awesome characters. I immediately liked their dynamic and how they contrasted each other. It's a great grumpy x sunshine pairing. Phoebe is younger and much more bold and free while Grace is older and more closed off and struggling to connect. Their relationship was full of chemistry but also messy. I loved the journey Grace went on to discover what she really wanted and ultimately needed to become happy.

The Bad
Grace frustrated me so bad sometimes. I tried my best to understand her but her pat with Kelsey didn't seem like enough of a reason to project so much distrust onto Phoebe.

Characters:
Janice is a type A and anxious yet composed lead. She was also hurt before and it caused her to be scared to be in another work place romance. Khent is a kind and soft. I think he balances her out a lot. I wish this was long story was longer or dual pov so they both could get arcs and development.

Plot:
The whole concept was fun and I hadn't heard of anything like this in the "accidentally mated" category. The conflict was a common on in the office romance genre just reformulated with the monster romance element.

The Good
I'm continuing through Talia Hibberts backlog and am still loving it! Ruth!!!! I absolutely loved this character. She had a lot of trauma to work though and it was hard for her to trust and be vulnerable. I loved Evan too. He is such a kind person with acts of service as his love language. He was trying his best to understand Ruth but it was obviously difficult. The last 80 pages of this book was pure gold I absolutely loved it so much. The romance and spice was top tier.

The Bad
While I understood Ruth, it was getting pretty frustrating reading her go one step forward and two steps back over and over. Even at moments I thought she was making some progress she would immediately revert back to closing off and getting angry.

The Good
I was excited to see the romance between Anthony and Gwen after seeing a tease of his crush on her in the previous book. Anthony is my type of grump: silent and just not good at expressing himself. I prefer that over dickhead masking as grumpy any day. He also has the "he falls first" and pining that I absolutely love. The chemistry between him and Gwen was excellent!

The Bad
I really wished the love revaluation came sooner. While it can't be categorized as slow burn really and I understand why it was drawn out for that dramatic confession, it was really frustrating to read at times. Especially since it felt unrealistic for two grown adults sleeping with each other to have a real conversation about their feelings about each other. Also, the word "synchronous" was used as meaning that the couple was fated or something and in my opinion that is the least romantic word to use. The word 'serendipitous' would've been perfect or even 'fortuitous'. I think I had a critique like this for the last book with just weird word choice that confused me.
