Highlights:
Aria is so confident yet vulnerable at the same time. She is both cynical about love and a hopeless romantic. The climax of this story might have been frustrating for some readers but it made sense for her character. She had a man lie to her and almost kill her best friend, so having another man lie to her again even if it was a white lie warranted her response. Nik the rich bi king!! He is socially awkward and a himbo. I loved how sure he was of his love for Aria. I loved the fake dating set up! Especially since Nik did it to get close to her. The chemistry between Aria and Nik was so intense. I didn't expect this book to be so spicy but it was insanely hot. Hibbert is great at crafting flawed yet lovable characters that fix together.

Lowlights:
I absolutely hated the narrators voice, especially when she did dialogue for Ari and some of the side characters, it was kind of over the top. I wish this book had more emotional weight like Hibberts other novels to it but it's short length served it's purpose.

“A sweet little lamb protecting the virtue of the wolf trying to eat her up. You really are something, Brie. What about when my two weeks are up? If I still burn for you then, what will you do?”

Characters:
Brie is a romance novel enthusiast and is very level headed. Felix is a love sick puppy. (Pun intended) He is sweet and sincere but also cheeky.

Plot:
Magic love potion or magical werewolf imprint? That is the question. I usually don't like insta-love but this doesn't truly count as its one-sided and the plot centers around whether these are his true feelings as a werewolf or the potion. I'm very glad there is less of an adventure plot that was in the first book and it focuses on the romance.

Secret Sauce:
This author has a very fun writing style that I cannot get enough of. The romance was cute and I loved both characters individually and together.

Rating: I give this book a 3/5

"Shall you come claim me for yourself then, pretty one? Shall we battle?"

Highlights:
Veronica is great! I love that a new character has healing powers now. I love how selfless, understanding and caring she is. I liked Ashtar learning the importance of a tribe and being there for one another. I love that different alien races are being explored in this series. I really loved the tone of this book. It was playful and fun.

Lowlights:
I think I'm drakoni-phobic. Ashtar's controlling nature, stubbornness and possessiveness were the most I've seen on Not-hoth and remind me why I never finished the 'Fire in His Blood' series. I don't like having to see Veronica constantly have to placate him and talk him down. It's not a dynamic I enjoy.

Horn Level: 3/5

*clears throat* FUCK THE FRENCH! anyways here's the review

Highlights:
Theur dynamic was so fun! Shy guy Zennek and flirty french Marlene.

Lowlights:
I wish there was some kind of relationship conflict in this story because nothing much happened for me to even comment on.

Horn Level: 5/5

Characters:
Cinnamon is awesome. I love how tough she is while also being rightfully afraid. Fallon is a great example of grumpy all powerful lead done well. He doesn't care about human rules just how they effect Cinna. I loved his dry humor.

Plot:
The it's a simple Dungeons and Dragons type quest but I appreciate it not being overly complicated so that the focus stays on the romance aspect. The romance was lacking emotional depth which left me feeling unsatisfied.

Secret Sauce:
The tone is amazing. It's witty and sharp which make it so fun. I usually don't like modern speech in "historical romance" but this was so unserious and authentically black I loved it.

Rating: I give this book a 3/5

Characters:
Mina is a magic-less vampire-human hybrid sold by her father to Malachi to satisfy his hunger. I flip back in forth in liking her as much as her emotions and thoughts flip back and forth. Part two (~30%) is where her character got a lot better for me. Malachi is a boring self-flagellating vampire trapped in a house by Mina's father. Wolf is cocky and manipulative but he is open about that. He is cruel, impulsive, and immature at times. Rylan is an older vampire who is mean as fuck. He dislikes and even hates Mina but fate has bonded them together.

Plot:
Mina is sent by her father to fulfill Malachi's needs as he is trapped there by her father through a blood ward. The end of Part One is where the character's and plot finally got interesting to me outside of the smut. Part two is where the characters dynamics started to get more interesting and complicated as well and I began to like Mina a lot more. I didn't realize there was a Katee Robert universe going on and that this was the same Azazel until an embarrassing long time into the book. It made me more excited to read the rest of the 'Deal with a Demon' series. The pacing of the third part felt very slow. Her father as a major villain felt hallow as a lot of confrontations and conflict happened off screen which annoyed me a lot.

Secret Sauce:
There were a lot of intimate scenes in this book were better than any of the plot or "romance" elements. I've haven't read any multi-partner romance before so I was very interested in the differing dynamics and this story delivered. The magic was also very interesting and I wanted more from this world.

Rating: I give this book a 3/5

Mini Review!~

Characters:
Harlow was so sweet. I found her fear of motherhood and being cancer survivor was interesting. Ruhk was so sweet as well. He was so lonely and Harlow completed him. Him being related to Raahosh was interesting because kidnapping must be genetic.

Plot:
I loved Dixon bringing back them being unable to communicate. Liz calling it Stockholm Syndrome was so insane because it quite literally what happened to her... Harlow's sickness was interesting but so sad. I also liked us finally seeing what happens to the hybrids.

Secret Sauce:
I liked that this romance was slower burn in comparison to the previous stories but still very good. I think I just prefer the sweeter couples.

Rating: I give this book a 3/5
