This was adorable and such a cute yet quick read.

It was good just not great.

I loved the story and the inclusion of the characters from Still Beating. I did like the flashbacks that they both had to back when they were younger. I really enjoyed the deep understanding of trauma especially after something like this happens that we only ever hear the beginning of the story when they are found but never anything else.

I loved the small-town vibes and the banter. The chaps scene was certainly something. I loved all the relationships in this book as well as the rodeo vibes.

I loved it even though it lost me on the science.
