I really enjoyed the ending and way it all played out. I could not figure out who it was until the end!
It was confusing and I still couldn't tell you what the ending was.
I managed to not cry until the note from the author.
I loved this book. The support from Atlas, Alyssa, and Marshall for Lily was amazing.
Based on the topics of the book I understand Ryles character arc and definitely thought that this topic was portrayed in a real and true way.

I enjoyed the plot and characters. It brought me back to 2020 and early 2021.
I can't wait for what The Final Gambit will hold. The romance is more prominent in this book than the last but overall loved it!
I went into reading this thinking it would be a typical m/m romance where they both know that they are gay and meet each other have this cute meet cute and then fall in love. This book was not that! It was emotional, grief driven, awakening love. From the plot to the characters and back story it was all so well achieved and thought out. I cried multiple times while reading this. The sex scenes are just graphic enough to feel like sex scenes but not overdone. Overall throughly enjoyed and could not put down!

I liked it but it was definitely not the ya romance I thought it would be.
