I just wasn't in the mood to read this book for some reason. 

 I just wasn't vibing with the characters but otherwise I have no idea why I wasn't liking it. 

I was not prepared for the level of kink and also wasn't vibing with either MC or the weird love triangle situation. 

Weirdly kinky in sex

This was one of my HIGHLY anticipated releases of 2025 and it minorly disappointed me. It was EXTREMELY good and everything I wanted until it wasn't. Around the 45% mark it started going downhill fast. The characters felt like the second they got together, the character building just stopped in its tracks and they lost themselves. The romance was pretty good though just the setting, plot, and characters kind of fell off and soured for me.

I liked book 1 this feels like a confusing commentary of emotional distress from book 1

I would 100% have finished this book if not for the nickname "my queen". It's a turn off for me in this book but I've read it in other and been fine. Idk this book just gave me that ick with that nickname. I still do love Emily Rath and the Jacksonville Rays series just this book wasn't for me I guess.

It kinda sucked

The fmc is insufferable and beyond stupid. The mmc is interesting enough but not enough to continue reading.
