So many revelations, oh my god.
I did not reread the first trilogy before reading this one. It was fine although I forgot most of the power sets the people at Omega Point had. I still very enjoyed it.
The ending left me hanging a bit but it has me very excited for the next book.
Also, when Warner told us that the leaders in Oceania did not have children, I was like OMG what if Juliette is the child? And she is!
I wonder if Juliette will go "Adelina" but I don't think she will go along with her parents.
I liked that Juliette's journal entries were also incorporated. It shows how much she has grown.
I hope that Warner and Juliette will work it out later but both of them have some character development left to do before they will be fully ready.

Jessi Kirby is so good in realistic endings. It makes me want to read all her books.
I was very engaged in the mystery of what happened to Liv.
It also shows how important memories are for us to know who we are if that makes sense.

I enjoyed the writing style, however, I lost focus while listening to this book a lot and I did not really care about the parts I missed.
Recommend to people who like character-driven stories with very unique characters

I really liked the writing style so that has me excited for more of Pinborough's work :)

I really enjoyed it. I feel like Holly did grow a lot in that last year.
If you love A Christmas Carol, I believe that you will love this modern retelling, too.

For a second I thought she would take the Scrooge way out but she didn't! It was really convincing and showed that she really put someone else before herselfIf you love A Christmas Carol, I believe that you will love this modern retelling, too.
This is an okay book. I enjoyed it. Mainly, because the voice actor of the audiobook did a great job sounding like Batman. However, I feel like the problem is that this book is called Batman but this book is about Bruce Wayne. He isn't Batman yet. He just became 18. And even though it is fun to see Bruce Wayne as a teen, DC Comics has some many teen heroes which might be more fun to follow even though they are less popular.
I feel like this book suffered from a poor book birthday since it is about the days after Christmas and New Years Eve and was published on January 2nd.
This book made me want to do (and still does!) random acts of kindness. It was a nice way of Max and Kendall to spend time together. Also, I liked that we caught glimpses of the POVs of the people Max and Kendall helped (think of books like The Sun is Also a Star and They Both Die at the End which have similar ways of telling the story). I really like it when stories are told this way because it gives more closure, in my opinion.
Also, the ending was very realistic and I loved it! I would definitely recommend it to you if you like The Sun is Also a Star and They Both Die at the End and especially if you are just in the mood for a lovely contemporary romance. Maybe you would want to read it during your Christmas break but I didn't mind reading it at the end of February.

I feel so so bad for Shalia. She is going to so many rough experiences in only the course of a few months. I hope that she will have the chance to catch her breath in the next book.
