I love Bailey! She is a cutie. Whitley, on the other hand, was a little bit harder to like but it didn't take me very long. God, she was just so lonely.
The premise of this book drew me in, plus that it is written by Kody Keplinger, however, I was expecting it to be a bit more steamy.
Nathan is a sweet guy but I don't think we really got to know him. I guess his character development got "sacrificed" because of the fact that family plays a big role in this which, in my opinion, is totally fine. This book also touches on cyberbullying very briefly which I thought was appropriate given the time we live in.

I enjoyed this book so much but I am not sure why exactly.
I loved that Tinker Bell is the narrator of this story. I liked that which point of view we saw depended on Tink's curiosity. This was for me a very unique experience of reading.
I never really knew the Peter Pan story. I used to have Peter Pan 2 on video but I don't think I had a special connection with the story or Neverland. I don't think I even knew of Tiger Lily until I was older.
So I would say that you can still very much enjoy this book even if you don't know a lot about Peter Pan and Neverland. I recommend to anyone who would like to read a fairytale retelling.

Vengeance Road is a nice Western YA novel. However, I have to say that I liked the companion novel, Retribution Rails, better. But it was still nice to dive into a very different story since most young adult historical fiction seems to focus on World War II.
This is basically a modern retelling of Lysistrata by Aristophanes: there is a sex strike to stop a 'war' between the football and soccer teams of Hamilton High.
Furthermore, this book opens up the conversation about sex which I think is important. The girls' discussion makes a lot of good points and I think a lot of people might wonder about the same things the girls in this book do. Although, I wish there would have been more talk about protection.
I really liked the girls working together and opening up to each other and supporting each other during their strike.
There was also some good sexual tension in this book, which I like to have in my YA contemporary romances.
I definitely recommend this book to any YA contemporary romance fan.
