All My Rage is a beautiful book. Salahudin and Noor are such well-written characters. They leap off the page. I am going to need a few days to process my emotions because Sabaa Tahir made me cry again. Sal and Noor go through so much and I just wanted to hug or support them.

I loved Me and My Dysphoria Monster. I think it will help children understand what gender dysphoria is and it gives tools on how to cope with it. Thus, this is an important picture book, almost like a self-help book. I hope that many trans children will benefit from this book. I hope that they won't suffer a lot from their dysphoria monsters.

I would recommend this picture book especially if you know trans or nonbinary people/children.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with the e-ARC.

A Girl Named Rainbow is a lovely picture book about life with a 'different' name like Rainbow. I am sure many children (and adults) will identify with Rainbow and her journey to loving her name. It is beautifully illustrated as well.

Thank you to NetGalley and Rebel Girls for providing me with the e-ARC of Quizzes for Rebel Girls. It brought me back to quizzes inside magazines. Perfect for the holidays, this way your children can figure out which rebel girl they are.

I still like the concept but the story or stories together are just ok to me.

I loved being back with the Potatoes! I remembered Aru Shah and the Tree of Wishes ending on a great note. But now that the last book of the series is out I finally picked up book four.

I enjoyed the new adventure the Pandavas and co. went on. And I'm very excited to read the final book.
medium-paced

I enjoyed the stories but missed a connection with the characters. I liked the concept. I might be picking up the sequel.

This book made me cry twice. An Emotion of Great Delight is written beautifully. The story of Shadi and her family takes place post 9/11. As a Persian Muslim family, they are facing more prejudice. But the family has had its own tragedy as well. But the book is about finding hope as well.
