A nice, short romance.

Atlas of Vanishing Places includes a lot of short histories of ancient cities, forgotten lands, shrinking places and threatened worlds and the reason why they are disappearing. I found them very interesting as I love history and anthropology. The book is also filled with maps and photographs of these places to make it even more vivid what has been or will be lost.

I would recommend this book to those who love history, maps, and would love to know more about places that we have lost to history.

I enjoyed I Was Born For This while I was reading it but it is unfortunately not a book I will keep thinking about. It was fun as long as it lasted.

The book kinda feels like a love letter to online friendships, fandom and boy bands. Moreover, there is no romance which is refreshing in Young Adult books. Big The Ark fan Angel finally meets her online friend Juliet as they wait for The Ark's concert later that week. But things aren't what they seem especially when Angel meets her idol Jimmy, a member of the band.

Great for fans of If This Gets Out.

Kill Joy is a fun prequel novella. I wish I had read this one before As Good As Dead.
AGAD was so intense that it is such a big difference visiting pre-AGGGtM Pippa. She has no idea what will happen to her.

 THIS WAS SO GOOD!

I listened to the audiobook, which made me gasp out loud on multiple occasions. That's when you know it's a good thriller/mystery. Great series finale!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with the ARC!

Rainbow Fish and the Storyteller is a great story for children with the underlying message how to trust sources. In today's world there is a great amount of misinformation and children will have to learn how to navigate tall tales, lies and the truth. This picture is a great start for this conversation with children.

In the book, Rainbow Fish meets a new friend, Humbert, who tells a lot of stories. There was, for example, a big plug that would drain the ocean! But is this plug really there? Did someone really pull it? Humbert tells other tall stories and Rainbow Fish and his friends are not sure if they should believe him anymore.

I read The Rainbow Fish years and years ago when I was still a child. The shiny scales and stamped foil was beautiful even 20 years ago. The Rainbow Fish and His Friends is a collection of five stories and some fun and games at the end as well as a short interview with the author. The stories included are The Rainbow Fish, Rainbow Fish and the Big Blue Whale, Rainbow Fish Discovers the Deep Sea, You Can't Win Them All, Rainbow Fish and Good Night, Little Rainbow Fish. It was fun to reread the first story since it is so well known and I had forgotten a lot about it. So this bundle is fun for old and new readers of The Rainbow Fish.
