Miraculous Chibi Volume 1 includes 4 fun comics for fans of Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir of all ages! The art style is cute but the story line doesn't move forward in these comics but they are fun filler stories.

Julia en de Haai is een prachtig boek voor alle leeftijden.

Ik ben nu net zo gefascineerd met de Groenlandse haai als Maura (na ja iets minder). Een vuurtoren blijft een interessante setting en de Shetlandeilanden gingen ook wat meer leven voor mij door dit boek!

De illustraties zijn prachtig en maken het verhaal compleet.

Maria Postema heeft ook weer geweldig vertaald!

Een aanrader voor de liefhebbers van Lampje!

Really enjoyed this Sports/baking romance!

The romance was build up slowly but surely and the two main characters had a lot of history between them. Set in a delicious bakery filled with cupcakes and pies it is a cute read!

Tropes: brother's best friend; childhood crush

Ik vind het heel belangrijk dat er (vertaalde) queer graphic novels zijn maar Bloem deel 1 voelt heel matig. Ik begrijp dat beslissing van de Nederlandse uitgeverij om de graphic novel in twee delen uit te brengen ook minder goed want nu is er nog eigenlijk niets gebeurd. Als mijn bibliotheek deel 2 heeft zal daar zeker naar kijken maar ik kan er ook meeleven als ik 'm nooit te lezen krijg.

Dat was zo goed omg

Deze graphic novel is meer een verzameling van autobiografische strips dan een verhaal. Natuurlijk gaat het allemaal over Maya maar die vertelt niet echt een verhaal. Hun laat hun leven zien maar, net zoals het leven, zit er niet per se één verhaallijn in. Het is alsnog een goed boek om te lezen.

I quite enjoyed this one! The Nanny x single dad situation was tricky but I think it was handled well enough. I think the second book is still my favorite but this one is a close second

Echt een heel mooi boek weer van Jandy Nelson. Als je fan bent van mooi taalgebruik, magical realism, verhalen in verhalen en familieverhalen dan is dit echt een boek voor jou!

De personages voelen heel sprookjesachtig. De verhalen die ze elkaar vertellen ook. Daarnaast is het boek heel mooi vormgegeven. Ik heb erg genoten van Als de wereld wankelt.

The revelations in this graphic novel are offensive 😭

I did not expect to get to know more about the mugging of Mako and Bolin's parents. It was not an accident. This made me feel many feelings. I also love how the brothers were depicted and the art is stunning!! I hope this story will give Mako and Bolin a bit more closure about what happened to their parents.
