Leah on the Offbeat did not give me the feels like Becky Albertalli's first two books did. I still enjoyed it a lot, especially the cute ending.
This first part has left me speechless and in tears. All I can say is that I hope you will pick up this graphic novel and experience it yourself.
A personal story of which most are lucky enough not to know the details. Art Spiegelman tells his father's story in a raw and honest way which was sure to make an impact on me.

I absolutely loved this book.
It taught me a lot about Native Americans.
It has a cute romance with realistic problems and issues.
Louise her family, especially her brother Hughie, is adorable.
I really enjoyed the issues the school news paper tackled.
In conclusion, I very much recommend this book to everyone. Especially those who just want a nice YA contemporary romance where they can also learn a thing or two.
