First of all, I love Denise. She is a wonderful character and I could relate to her a lot. (I mean, who doesn't love cats?) When I started this book, I was really curious how a person with autism would react to the start of the end of the world. It turns out that she reacts the same way I would maybe even better. Of course, there are ... Secondly, I love that it takes place in the Netherlands. I was familiar with a lot of the places, which is something that doesn't happen to me that often.
Although the story lost me a little bit in the third part, I really like the ending!
Oh, and the cast of characters is so diverse! I have never seen anything like it. I wish there were more books like that.

I liked the ending. I loved how Denise put her mother in place. I believe it is the right thing. I also think with this ending it is a bit like the beginning of the 100.
I keep saying it but I just love this world and its characters.
The Legend of Korra: Friends for Life (FCBD 2016)
Heather Campbell, Michael Heisler, Michael Dante DiMartino, Killian Ng
Love these babies! I can't wait until the other Korra comics will be published :D
Mother Carey's Table 3 stars: A nice story about a black pirate girl who has to pretend to be a boy to survive. I liked to see what pirates believed in as in Davey Jones and Mother Carey.
The Journey 3,5 stars: Making a journey with an Inuit girl was really cool. I also learned a bit about the religion that they have in the Great Land.
Madeleine's Choice 3,5 stars. I thought this was a very cute story.
El Destinos 3 stars. It is a different version of the three Fates from Greek, Roman and Norse mythology. I love mythology so it was definitely an interesting read.
High Stakes 3,5 stars. It was a historical fantasy story. I had never heard about the genre before but it sounds quite interesting. It also what I wanted from Throne of Glass namely a kickass female assassin.
The Red Raven Ball 3,5 stars. I really like to read about the ball and the mission. I don't know what to think of the ending of the Red Raven Ball... I was not disappointed but it wasn't that mind blowing either.
Pearls 3,5 stars. I liked Pearl though I'll give a trigger warning for rape. But that part makes it very real. I liked how she wanted to become a teacher.
Gold in the Roots of the Grass 4 stars. I liked to see a story about a Chinese-American girl between the Afro-American girls their stories :) I liked how it was supernatural and I love Marissa Meyer's writing.
The Legendary Garrett Girls 4 stars. Two sisters who ran a very successful saloon in Alaska. And I really liked their plan.
The Color of the Story. 3 stars. I'm sadly surprised how not long ago it was that there was segregation in the US. This story let's you see how bad the prejudices could be for colored Americans. It, of course, features a pilot because it is Elizabeth Wein's story ;)
Bonnie and Clyde 4 stars. So this story is not about Bonnie and Clyde but about a girl who robs banks dressed as a boy and dates the boy who works at the police. I really liked it although you don't see much of the robbing or the dating now that I think of it. But I liked her reasoning and the way the story was told.
Hard Times 3 stars. It is a nice story about the Depression of the 1930s influence on the youth etc.
City of Angels 4 stars. A story about a black, lesbian Rosie the Riveter; it was awesome. It also would have been so hard to be in that position in that time. Even now, things aren't that great for persons of color and members of the LGBT+ community.
Pulse of the Panthers 4 stars. The Pulse of the Panthers features Sandy who is living a content life far away from the scary world she sees on television. That is until the Black Panthers arrive on the grounds of her family's farm. She cooks for the men and wonders if she wants to join the fight. That wondering was somehow really powerful to me because I wonder about it, too. Not necessarily the same fight but I would like to fight for equality and peace for all.

First of all, this book is so important. When I started to listen to this book I didn't really know that much about being intersex. Now I know more but there is still a lot more to uncover.
Secondly, this is the first time I listened to an audio book. I really enjoyed it. Sometimes I just laid down and listened to it or I would have to cycle to somewhere and I could listen to it and it was so nice.
None of the Above also didn't do a lot of what I expected. For example, there wasn't an information session for the other students in which I thought Kristin would do a speech and win everyone/most of the students over. I liked that.

For the stories together I give this book 4,5 stars.
I won't go into details because of spoilers. But the last story was so cute and sweet. This whole book just reminded me how much I love these characters and their adventures and their stories.

This was such a cute story and I really like how it is visualized with the drawings and IMs. :) cute
this book was really short. The audiobook was only three hours (about the amount of time I commute daily) But this book is as important as it is short.
Melissa/George is a cutie. Kelly is literally the best friend she could have. Scott is a good older brother and Mom has to get used to the idea but after a few days she's accepting and loving and :)

It is so nice to revisit this world. I just love it so much.
I also love that it is not afraid to back away from bigger issues, even if it is targeted at children. This first part makes it very obvious that this trilogy will be about nationalism and extremism. Very important topics, especially this day and age.
It took me 25 minutes to read... It does make me wonder if it is worth the €10... but I liked it.

Lovely story with some twist and turns I didn't expect and some that I dod expect. I can't wait to listen to the sequel :)
