Are we just going to gloss over the fact that parts of this book are blatant plagiarism of a book written in 2005? The scene with the bra feels way too similar to a scene in Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan boys, and the whole concept is way too similar for comfort. A girl goes to live with family friends who have an absurd number of male children. The girl falls in love with one of the boys. One of the boys has an intimate relationship with his brother's girlfriend. The oldest boy is out of high school, and one of the boys is the hotshot sports star who has an on-again, off-again "girlfriend" who is super jealous of the girl. I know it was originally on Wattpad, and it's giving off major fanfiction vibes of what it would be like if Megan ended up with Evan and not Finn, there were more kids like why did this new family have so many sets of twins (Cheaper by the Dozen much?), and the reason Megan goes to live with them is because they die, not because they move to Korea.
