Un "detective" suo malgrado, ex medico passato per il carcere, tutto tormento e oscurità, e un ragazzone dedito al whisky che vuole morire si trovano al centro di una rete di malaffare nella Milano anni '60. Molto bello

My first Elmore Leonard did not disappoint. Totally reminds of Quentin Tarantino in dialogues and atmosphere and totally nuts characters (in fact Tarantino did use one of his novels for a film - Jacky Brown maybe?). Super fast and entertaining read
