uno dei personaggi più uggiosi mai letti, ho chiuso il libro con un senso di stizza che non ricordo di aver provato da tempo. Libro che si trascina per più della metà, almeno fino a che è Coniglio a parlare, che si solleva quando cambiano i punti di vista, e per poi cadere nel dramma sul finire.
Nonostante una scrittura fenomenale, non riuscivo a farmi venir voglia di andare avanti, se non tramite un atto di volontà stupefacente.
mah.

mi sembra come se dovessi dargli almeno 4 stelle per forza, anche se in realtà non ne sono sicura. a tratti è disgustoso (checché chiunque ne dica) a tratti commovente. Certo è molto bello, la scrittura, la raffinatezza un po' glaciale, l'umorismo e il grottesco e l'orribile.

just finished, such a page turner, I can't figure my feelings out, yet. but while figuring out, I bought the second one 😍

all the love and feels for Ivan. i enjoyed it, got the thrills, even if i wasn't over the hills about it. still a really fast paced book!

Finally, oh finally! Had to wait till the very last page, for God's sake! But I loved it, even if it dragged some, and I think I got through too much pain, but still Mr Thornton was very much worthy ❤️
