My love for this series continues! Well researched and with plenty of depth :) I struggled a bit with keeping up with names but that was just me speed reading to find out what was happening!
Enjoyable story with roots in Japanese mythology, just not particularly overwhelming

A very enjoyable fast paced book with a very interesting premise and unique fantasy world. Loved the summoning aspects and the realistic human characteristics that were portrayed. My only issue is that the ending didn't feel very satisfying however I know there are sequels so Im not too mad. Overable a gripping read that I flew through.

I love the narrator for this audiobook she adds so much to the stories. Very magical.
I thought this series couldn't get any better. It did. WHAT IS HAPPENING

Another outstanding book by Damien Boyd! I read this one within record time as I was so hooked. I guessed one of the main plot twists from near the beginning however it did not take away the enjoyment of the story. The only reason its not 5 star was my difficulty keeping various company names straight in my head (probably due to me reading it so fast!).

First two thirds were excellent, creepy as hell and super interesting.
Last third was really odd and didn't make much sense. The characters seemed to become super one dimensional and a big surprise 'meeting' was so non impactful it was ridiculous.
