An enjoyable read. No real surprises, per se, but entertaining nonetheless. I liked the characters and the detective was likeable.

I really enjoyed this book. I couldn't put it down and read it all in one day. As a mom, I could feel the narrators pain and love so clearly.

I really enjoy detective Gina Harte as a character and I like the supporting characters in the stories. This book (#3) was my least favorite so far, compared to book #1 and #2. Not terrible enough to stop me from reading book #4 next ;)

Another great Gina Harte book. I enjoyed this one more than the last. I also am listening to these books in audio format and Tamzin Kennard is a great narrator. I'm feeling terribly sad that the next two books have a different narrator, because books 1-4 were narrated by the same person and it was really lovely to have that consistency.

I really enjoyed this book. Nancy (Nan) is a wonderful protagonist and the storytelling is rich and queer.

More of a 3.5/5. Not a terrible story, but it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I listened to this book as an audio book and that was well done, with different narrators for different characters.

Nothing spectacular, but also not terrible or the worst book I've read.
