A fun read

A nice fun read that ends in a Empire kinda of way. Would recommend if you are looking for something a bit light and fun.

It picks up a year after the fall of the Lord Ruler and follows the story of Vin and crew as they try to hang on to their victory while learning that just bc they won the rebellion doesn’t mean they are close to winning the war. The book itself took some time to get into and was a bit tedious but the last 200 pages were so exciting.

This book was an interesting peek into how a murder in Victorian England shocked and sensationalized the gentry. As the crime was being investigated, people looked to authors of the day such as Dickens to see if their popular stories were the reason behind this murder.

What a great story with a excellent character development that really helped bring you into the world the author created.
