This was a fun “you’ve got mail” vibe but in a really interesting world. Very much enjoyed the audiobooks. 

The MC had so much internal fat phobia and spent the entirety of the epilogue focused on their weight loss. Not a great representation of plus size rep. Would not recommend. 

Fun read! Really enjoyed it! 

I was able to get an eARC and very much enjoyed this addition to the Dark Olympus series. The adventure and mystery was a great read along with the relationship between the two MCs. A fun read.

This is a great fantasy read. I very much enjoyed the world building and magic. The book was such a breath of fresh air and I loved stepping into this world.

The author puts their characters though so much trauma in this book. Just an FYI. 
I enjoyed the premise of watching this friendship span 30 years and at each point in their lives break apart and put themselves back together in their own flawed way. The main characters were extremely flawed and almost to the point of being unlikeable in their stubbornness. The trama themes were a bit too much for me but well written and excellent story building. 
The audiobook narrator did an extremely fantastic job. 

This was a great Greek myth retelling. I very much enjoyed Hera as a narrator and this insight into Penelope’s story during her period on Ithaca without Odysseus. It was bitchy and full of feminine rage. 

I love Kate Clayborn romances. Her talent in relationship building and conflict are world class and all of her books leave me swooning, this was no exception. Not only did the love story between the main characters grow and develop, so did the main character’s friendship with her best friend grow into something wonderful as well. I enjoyed that we had two journeys here for the main character and I really felt the growth of the story. This is an absolute wonderful romance and I hope people love it as much as I do. 

On a personal note: Writing stories featuring a fat main character is a delicate line. So many times authors lean into hurtful and stereotypical storylines, especially in romance, as if to say that a fat person is only deserving of love when they overcome all these horrible things. It is so incredibly frustrating to me as a reader, and to me as a fat woman. 

Mary does not do that. She gives us a fat main character because all bodies are different and all people are deserving of love. And that is it. This is the fat representation I want to see in books. Mary did a beautiful job in this book. I hope it brings joy to all the Romance readers.
