I enjoy reading the stories about this family. Hopefully there will be a #3!

One wish… not to do the Ruby chapters in italics. It’s kind of distracting and gives it the wrong feel.

This was a great book! Not your usual Christmas romance/family get-together story. I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading. I enjoyed reading a story with multiple generations included, although I was not a fan of Wendy and Mac (from my age group). There was just the right amount of drama, heartache and love for this Christmas story.
This is the first book I’ve read by Victoria James and I’m happy to add another author to my follow list! I enjoyed reading a story that was in Ontario. I live 2 hours from Toronto too so I was googling to see if “Silver Springs” was real :)
I’m looking forward to reading the next Christmas House book!

The story was good but I didn't like how it skipped over time too far. For example the very small time spent prior to Doug's wedding. Or discussion about his health scare. Its kind of hard to believe a wedding would be planned without someone leaking it. Then there was so much time spent on details that were brought back up time and again through the story. I found myself skipping many paragraphs to get to new information.
