I am sorry that I left this book sitting in my TBR file for so long! It was a dark and gripping read that kept me listening (I borrowed the audiobook) through the pages. I was very into the story until the last 10% of the book. This is when my slow like and empathy for Sally slipped away and any character growth disappeared and left me feeling so disappointed. I spent 90% of this book enjoying to being frustrated with the author for not giving an ending that Sally deserved. 
I have no regrets reading this book and would still recommend it if anyone asked but my rating leaves me just midway through the stars.

I’m sorry to say that this was only 2 stars for me. I did finish it but it fell flat. The suspense was non existent and I didn’t like any of the characters. It felt unrealistic.

I'm NOT a fan. Lots of words to say so little. Authors should never be the narrator of their own books.
