The ending saved this book for me. It’s all seemed a little too good to be true and very formulaic until the last few chapters. The epilogue is the reason this is 4 stars.

Takes a sharp turn about halfway through which I was not prepared for. Ended up being more than I thought was right for this kind of story, but overall it was cute and actually sort of inspiring and hopeful by the end.
