The love interest was extremely creepy, arrogant, and stalker-ish. It's not cute that he had a horde of photos of her in a shoe box in his room, even if they were in high school. It's weird. And the whole book felt like someone was committing incest due to the main character going on and on about how she was his protector as a child and how she could only remember him as a child like they were siblings. The whole thing was WEIRD

Oh my god. I’ve never read such a funny book in all of my life. I laughed and laughed, then I cried, then I laughed, and then I was so sad it ended that I sat and stared off into space for an hour just thinking about how amazing it was and how I can never read it for the first time again.

This book is THAT good. I’m jealous of anyone who gets to read it for the first time and experience the joy, coziness, laughter, touching plot, and of course, the chocolate of it all. I’m obsessed and will absolutely be re-reading this sometime next year. It was like a warm hot chocolate for the soul.

If you ignore the last two paragraphs it’s a breathtaking story. I don’t remember the last time I was giggling and kicking my feet like a teenager, but the chemistry in this book kept me giddy! Best love story I’ve read in a long time. It’s taken way too long for me to get to reading this and I’m sad I waited so long. Every moment was amazing

I had a hard time rating this. By the ending I was in happy tears, and I thoroughly enough the ambiance of it all. However… The second half of the book was good and the last 1/4 was even better, but I had a hard time liking the main character at first because of how she treated the love interest and the other two extremely unlikely characters in the book rubbed me the wrong way. And one of them were supposed to magically forgive and understand. I honestly loved this book but the character flaws were too big in a bad way to make this a 5* book for me.

Hate, hate, hate that a certain part of the book isn’t from Bella’s perspective seeing as it involves the most interesting part of the book. I skipped a lot, but the ending was happy and nastolgia and all that, so 3/5 stars. And that’s generous. (It was rather long and boring at times)

Re-reading this for the first time in 17 years (I read this series at 12) really put how gross Jacob was to Bella in perspective. And it put Edward more into perspective too. I got major ick the whole way through. I ended up having to skip a lot. Not even nostalgia could save the rating for this one. So much cringe.

Not going to lie, I skipped all the long, brooding "I miss Edward!!!" parts of the book. So really I only read half of it, but that half was pretty good.
