First half of the book was five stars, but started to become repetitive as the book progressed. I did however enjoy all of the representation! The MC is a fat,demi-ace, Black girl who deals with anxiety disorder. There are also many other characters who identified as non-binary which I also enjoyed.
I loved the concept. However, it could have used a bit more polish as well as a more developed plot with a bit more direction. The romance was also not as developed as I would have liked, however it is on par with a teenage romance, so this did not contribute to my overall rating as I am not in the target age group for this novel.
Overall, great book and I will definitely be reading more from this author as this was their debut!
