first off, WOW Naomi! I DEVOURED this book so fast, I couldn’t put it down. James was an absolutely captivating character, I could not stop rooting for her and wanting her to succeed and be happy as her OWN WOMAN - away from both her dad and her idiot boyfriend.  

James comes into a restaurant to find a job after being cut off from her father for wanting to follow her dreams as an artist. She quickly catches Ozzy’s eye and their relationship begins developing as they’re working together.  Ozzy also has a bit of a rocky past that he’s navigating through, but they are able to support, and love each other in the best ways. 

Please read the TW’s as this book does deal with some heavy topics that maybe triggering to some 🫶🏼

EXCUSE ME, MA’AM?!? The ending!! 

This was absolutely WONDERFUL! single mom x golden retriever may now be one of my favorite trope sets, and Oliver’s mouth is straight 🔥 AND NO THIRD ACT BREAK UP!! 🤩

Seeing the dynamic between Oliver and Mackenzie grow and flourish made me cry more times than I can even count 🥲 and the way he loves and cherishes Macey is just straight GOALS! My heart can’t take it. 

Jenn absolutely KILLED it with this book and I NEEEEEED book 4 ASAP!!!
