Didn't like Elizabeth. Some of the murders were resolved in underwhelming fashion through narrative about characters I hadn't cared about much. Bogdan was a strong redeeming feature of the book though.

I enjoy the world building a lot. Not as keen on how roughly the characters are treated, but that's personal preference. Also really enjoyed the fab build up to the hell confrontation but was a bit let down by the resolution. Some things haven't aged well - the flowers of romance will probably not make it to Netflix
