can't believe i read this entire book just to discover that it is in fact a jalec au
yeah this is a good book but you absolutely cannot ignore the racist undertones that are there throughout and the fact that . just absolutely awful what they did to sal.

basically every white character was 100% willing to throw the innocent white boy under the bus to protect all the awful things they did like murder, rape, kidnap, drug dealing and paralysing random people
