Jory and Hunter are officially boyfriends!!

God this comic is the absolute cutest and I hate that there's only two issues left of it.

It's intriguing and all of our boys are lovable. Sasha is adorable and I love how he only sees the good in people.

Honestly this comic is a gem and I wish everyone read it.

I love this concept!!

So essentially, a superhero's intern/apprentice meets a villain's intern/apprentice and they fall for each other. Jamie (the superhero's intern) knows his job inside and out. He knows he's going to be kidnapped and used as a pawn to draw the attention of Captain Superior, but he's okay with that. During one of his almost regularly scheduled kidnappings at the hands of Terrorantula, he meets Tad, the villanous intern, and he's hot. It's forbidden, but they can't help themselves.
Over the story, Jamie has to consider whether Tad is actually evil or not. He has to deal with the decisions Tad makes and the consequences of them, and decide whether persuing something with him is something he can actually do.

I loved Superior, and I kind of wish it wasn't just a novella.
It's surprisingly sweet, but maybe I'm just a sucker for a M/M romance where they're on opposite sides.

Only one issue left :(

Gosh they really are going full steam ahead in these last few issues. There were so many answers in this issue. The art is wonderful as always but we didn't see enough of Finch for my liking. This is very much a two-parter finale with the cliffhanger at the end, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

Guys this issue is so good! I honestly love this spin-off so so much.

The camera crew being mostly poc is a nice addition.
The art is better than the current art in Jem And The Holograms.
And gosh this issue focusing on Stormer's insecurities (mainly her weight and how people bully her about it, which gross frankly), and how Pizazz is willing to fight people on her behalf for it. Pizazz has been set up as a villain since day one, but her being a good friend and adding to the depth of her character is so so good.

I love Stormer though, she's always been my favourite in Jem And The Holograms, and her sticking to her convictions and not losing weight for drama on the reality show is just SO GOOD.

So this issue was all about 'doing the adult thing', and the girls all seemed to make progress with that; Susan is being civil with Emilia, Esther gets a job, and Daisy is trying to be more serious with Ingrid.
But I just felt like something was missing.

I'm still not sure whether I like Ingrid or not. I'm still waiting for Susan and McGraw to get back together.
I just didn't really feel this as much as other issues.

This was a little confusing, at least to me.
I get that this was just setting it up, and that we'll get backstory on Novo and Aeshma in future issues, but I didn't fully understand what was going on. How does Aeshma have this power? Who is Novo?

That full singular panel on page 20 was pretty neat though, and the colouring for it was absolutely stellar. The pages after it seemed a little chaotic though and it put me off a little bit.

I'm not sure if it would be enough for me to continue reading if this wasn't an Image publication, but I trust Image so I'm gonna stick it out a little longer.

I could honestly read 100 issues of Kim & Kim and still be as in love with it as I was when I read #1

The colouring, the art, the characters, the relationships between all of them: I love it all.

This definitely felt like it was set up for another arc, and didn't feel like a definitive ending at all, but we won't get it until summer, almost a full year after this arc wrapped up. (All I know so far is that it's subtitled Love Is A Battlefield, but I'm super pumped)

Just give me more Magdalene. I need to see my queer faves being badass.

This issues was actually super cute!
I preferred it a whole lot more than #9, even though essentially this was just a continuation of what #9 set up.

Jonesy protests and campaigns for the ferret rescue center to be re-opened in Shepard City, and she accomplishes it!

I thought she actually made some really adult decisions in this issue. Jonesy has always been a comic that's fun and cute, but definitely a little bit juvenile. This time though, she decides to give up a good thing in order to do the right thing and repair her friendships with Susan and Farid and everyone in Plymouth, which was actually really mature of her.

I'm looking forward to seeing how she puts her signature quirky spin on fixing everything wrong in Plymouth.
