Such a good novel. Funny and emotional. I loved the small town characters and how they protect their own. The banter in the text messages was hilarious! 

Very informative on mental illness. 

What a roller-coaster ride. Daemon was a force to be reckoned with. He's such a harsh but unique character. I kind of loved him. Hailee was more timid. She wasn't my favorite but I still enjoyed the story. 

This was a fascinating book. I enjoyed all of the characters. You learn about such a unique part of WWII. One I'd never heard of.

This is so well written. You really get two viewpoints which makes this true crime books so interesting. 

I love Simone's books. This was such a unique one with two very different time periods. I loved how they intertwined. Such a great book!
