WOW! This book just takes your breath away. It's a multiple POV and dual timeline novel that is full of hope, mystery, and adventure. It surrounds 4 people during WWII...Joan, Will, Dov, and Hans who meant in different ways. Love and friendships are born. Then in 2022 we have Hadley and Kitzie who are in charge of putting on a reunion of these families...Will, Dov, and Hans who had formed a company. It all takes place on St. Simons Island in Georgia which is a beautifu  coastal barrier island full of history.
emotional inspiring reflective sad medium-paced

Some may need tissues for this novel. It's definitely a unique take on middle age and almost like mid life crisis and empty nest. That's how I felt.

Great summer read!
emotional hopeful reflective sad fast-paced

Emotional roller-coaster of a book. Colleen Hoover gave a book that shows we don't always know what's going on when someone is silent. Shock has different effects on people as does depression. Kenna and Ledger grow a relationship out of a tragedy in their past. Kenna is looking for something while Ledger is protecting someone. It's such a beautifully told story.

The Bennetts are a family who seem to have it all. One night everything changes. This is a heart stopping novel that also tugs at your heart strings. You truly feel a parents love for their children and see the lengths they will go to protect them.
dark informative sad tense slow-paced

Dark and twisted cases for sure. They are all very different but very interesting. The first one takes place in Florida but the rest take place in Washington state.
hopeful lighthearted fast-paced

This was the cutest romance! Great if you enjoy romances that are not spicy. It was enjoyable reading about Linda and Mason and their 3rd chance at love. Third times a charm! Kasey Kennedy developed the characters in such a beautiful way showing that it takes time to forgive and truly move on from past mistakes and heartaches.
