Not as intense or gripping as the other books in the series. It's still a good book though. I enjoyed it. 

The history that Hannah weaves through her books and stories is amazing. I learn as I read. This was fascinating with the great depression,  drought,  and workers rights. Elsa and Loreda are two very unique women and strong females with different perspectives. I absolutely loved this story. 

Interesting takeaways on growing up white and poor and how to overcome. 

This was dark, twisty, and good. Alex and Ava have a volatile relationship however they are so good for each other. 

SPICY!!!! This was a fun read. Full of spice. I enjoyed the mathematics aspect even if it wasn't all necessarily perfectly correct or understandable for a normal person. James and Kiernan are one hot topic for discussion. Student and professor relationship that can't be avoided. I loved Kiernan and her fierce mouth. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind! Loved it. 

I'm not sure what to think of this. It was a mystery. The family dynamics were wild and dysfunctional! It was good and also a little weird.
