What a powerful memoir! What this woman overcame was nothing short of amazing. This also goes to show that sometimes you really don't know what homeschooling entails. Each family does it differently. She's one strong woman to finally go for what she wants in life. 

This was a different book for me. It's more high fantasy than I'm used to. However, it's beautifully written. Very descriptive and almost lyrical at times. I may not have understood everything but I got the gist of it. 

This was such a fun romance. Alder and Ivy were such a unique couple. They both had experienced loss and this effected them in their lives. I absolutely loved the winter scene for the book and some of the other elements. It was all around a lot of fun and I enjoyed it. 

Not a bad book. Good, just not enthralling. 

Good book. I enjoyed the two main characters and their quirks. It was just a little on the slow side for me during the middle. 

I had a feeling about the twist. Good book overall. 

Loved the poetry. 

I loved this novel. It's full of longing through the ages. Evelyn was a woman who went after what she wanted and was only afraid of one thing at a time when it was not discussed. This was beautifully written. 

Such a fun adventure.
