It was good but I'm still so confused.

DNF. I just couldn't with the second person. Not at all bad, just too awkward in that way for me.

I cannot say enough good things about Courtney Summers. Her writing is harsh and real. It hurts to read this book but it needs to be read. There is nothing flowery about her words but it somehow becomes beautiful for its heartbreak. She writes so flawlessly that it makes it seem easy. Summers is one of the best writers writing today. Her words mean something. Read them.

I was comparing it to gone girl and it just didn't shock me in the same ways. Not saying it wasn't good, it just wasn't as heart pounding to me.
