I think this was a nice start to this series. I only read part one. But as the story went and i think i grew to like all the characters by the end of this series!! I think some of the heavy battle elements i struggled with!! but i really enjoyed the world and the characters. It is such a rich world!! I really loved most of this book!

I think this book hit the spot for me!! I also really loved this book and the diverse elements as well. I also loved that this book had a travel and dance element this book was also really focused on self discovery and also had a element of finding your own way this book also had some messy romance drama and some sex postive scenes. It was quick read and reminded me of rent a bf and American panda! will def check out the sequel!

I really did like this book. I have never read a gilded age book before. I enjoyed this story alot. It was a really fun and quick read. I also really liked both characters and both charcters POV alot. I also enjoyd seeing how this american characters handled british society. I also liked how this book set up so many future books. I also liked this book becaue this lead character was unqiue and i am really excited to read more book in the series.

I think this was a cute read. It would make a really fun summer read. This book read to me as a nice book for older middle grade readers that want to start reading some middle grade. I thought the "prank" elements to this story was fun. I also thought this book tackled topics that you see often in middle school like family, friendship and boy drama.I also thought the setting of a camp inspiredby birds was fun. It was super quick read but one that put my in a summer state of mind.

This was a really fun read. It def was a slow burn read and one that focused more on friendship and less on the romances. But it was very slow pace read. I also really liked the the various POV that we got throught the read. I also thought this book tackled harder topics like family, friends and mental health issues. I have always been a fan of twins in novel and this book was super quick read! But one that def packed a emotional punch!

I had a super fun time reading thi book. I also really loved the rep in this book and how it focused on both african american folk heroes and also gods. It was a really fast pace read. It also dealt alot with the topics of recovering from grief. I did read a much older arc of this book, so it did read a bit long to me. But I really loved the quest element and the twists and turns in the story. I am really excitd to read book 2 soon!! So happy i finally read it!

This hero grew on me as the book progressed. I will admit jack is damanged and becasue of that I struggled to like him in the first book in this series. But i adored the female characer as both a widow and mother. I also really loved seeing the side characters again. I also loved the side mysery plot again, i think i like the first book mystery a tad more. But i am really excited to keep readin this series!

I am so sad that I did not love this book as much as so many other people did! i WANTED to love it. I will say this it kept me reading and it was hard to to put down but the unlikablenss of the all the characters really killed the book for me overall. I really struglled not only to care about the characters but also to care what happen. I also felt like all the characters pov felt super simialr it made me it hard to conenct to them!! This book def did not wow me!

Such a soild end to this series!! I also really enjoyed how this book wraped up but also gave each of the five lead characters a moment and stand out moment. I also liked that the romance element did not overtake the story but was important. I also liked this book focused more on becoming a hero and less on the bells that make you hero. It also a really quick pace read! I really loved the myths we were intrduced too!! i am def goign to read more by this author in the future!

I really enojoyed this book. I loved that this book focused on musical magic. I also really was here for the hate to more Lgbtq+ story. I also really loved how this book had a mystry that was pushed the plot foward. This worldd was also so rich with all of the other magic elments in this novel. I also like this book had a complicted dyamnics between father and daughter and some important conversations about abuse and various types. I also loved the fast pace nature of this novel! But i really loved this novel and excited to read more by this author in the futute!
