I have not read this book in so long. I really loved returning to this world as a audiobook. I really loved the narrator in this series and will def re-listen to the whole series. I love Percy as a hero so much. I also loved the trio of characters that became the heros in this book. I really loved how the author was able to use so much real myths to craft this story. It was such engaging read and super hard to put down. If you like books like harry potter then you should def add it to my Tbr!!

I think this is def my favorite read of this author this half mystery half fantsay story. I also really enjoyed all the various characters POV and was super invested in them all. I also really liked how this magic system remiended me of some elements of shadow and bone but was also super unique. i also really liked the focus on law and courts as elment in this story!! I also liked the focus on the siblings realitonship at the heart of this read. I liked how this book ended and am curious to see where book 2 goes.. oR we better be getting a book 2, cause that clifhanger was a killer!!

This again was a book that did not wow me. I really struglled to like the main character and really queteioned most of her choices throuout this read. The concept of being in witness protection was intreasting but it did not capture as her previous books I read did. It was okay story and the mystery was okay at the very end i wanted more. But this thrilelr did not wow me!

This book was a eye opening and powerful look at the lives of japaense americans in the 1940 after the attacks of peral harbor. I loved how this book was structured and how even though it follwed 14 different characters it really did focus on found fmaily and the so many moments and various experiecnes that was apart of thier lives in this time of their lives. The challening moments of their lives was heart breaking and you kept wanting to root for them. It was a read that will keep me thinking and will def motivate me to read more books in the future about historical time periods.

I really emjoyed this read. I loved a strong female lead and this book did that. I also really liked how it was american girl in england. I also loved all the side characters espeically emma cousin. I also thought this book had a nice mystery at the end to keep me gusing and wanting to listen. I thought this was a great read and one that i really enjoyed!

I really loved this read. I thought not only the characters were awsome but also the elments of a fantsay story but mixed with a murder mystery was so captvating to me. I also thought this book had a important rep like anxiery rep but also the possilbity of chronic illness. This book also had a real cool hero that just capatived me. It also had so many twists and turns and read herrings that just kept me gussing. This book I had such a hard time putting it down and really loved this this book was standlone but would love to see mroe stories set in this world!! I also want to read this author backlist!
