Think book was a deeply alarming read. It also made me so angry. I was fascinated by this read . It was also a fast pace mystery with a modern day dystopia twist. I flew this this book. I also loved how complicated and morally grey characters were at the heart of this read. It also showed how cultures can change a person. I also really loved the main character as well. I also like the focus on science element as well! It was a fascinating modern dystopia read and would def read more by this author in the future

I really did enjoy this read. I loved the focus on Japanase mythology and loved the world that was created. I also really loved the siblings realtionship that was at the heart of this read. This book did have some pacing issues in the start and towards the end. It felt like the pacing was a bit confusing and clunky. I also really liked the quest elements and also just the big world for these characters. The main character i sometimes struggled with, but the end made me really enjoy her. I will def be checking out book 2 in the future

This book was not what i expected off the bat, but I really loved this book by the end. I really liked the main character and also loved the setting. The romance was not what i expected but such a fun read. I also really loved the travel elements featuring england and france, he reminded me so much of my own college trips. I also loved the focus on friendships and the focus on finding your own path in life!! Such a cute read!!

I really loved this read. It was such a fast and quick read. I loved how this book was set in the 90 and focused on the Chinese experience in americans. It dealt with so many harder topics like racism, friendship and running a hotel. It also focused alot on found family and the kindness of strangers in a cruel world. This book put a smile on my face and and brought tears to my eyes. I really loved the characters in this book and am so excited for book 2!!

I really enjoyed this read. I thought it was really fun mystery thriller with memory loss element that I really enjoyed. I also liked how this story had a unique structure. It was a very small story, with not a ton of characters. I also thought the story was a fun one, and super quick read. I really did fly through the story. I would def read more by this author in the future. This story had a super rushed ending and would have liked a bit more closure to the end of the story!! But a prefect early fall read!!

I don't think I have ever read a book that touched me so much in my life. I was captured from page one to the end page. I really was shocked how i felt some connected to the people real lives ever. It thought it really not only opened my eyes to the truth about cultures so different from mine but also about how a simple act of kindness and friendship can really change somebody life. I rec. this book to anyone and has def become one of my favorite reads of the year!

I really loved this eerie and creepy mystery with supernatural twist. I really loved the small town and the focus on a group of kids that all of abilities in sense. I also loved the eerie elements of the story. It was really quick read, but one where i questioned just about everything. It does deal with harder topics towards the end, but it also is a really prefect thriller for late summer early fall.. I will def read more by this author in the future.

I thought this was book was a fun and fast pace story, that focused on STEAM characters. And so many differences elements of this world. This story also had so many fun adventure moments but also dealing with harder complications of a our society like climate change. I really loved the main character in this story, and hope in future books we learn more about the other main characters. I really also enjoyed how this book was focused on solving a real problem that exists in our world, such a fun read, it remined me alot of 39 clues series as well!!
