I thought this was a fun take on the secret garden myth. I thought the characters were super fun and really loved the setting and the house. I also really like the group of kids that we met in this read. It was a fast pace read. I though this book tackle grief and death of a parent super well and really loved that part of the read. I thought the mystery was well ploted. I just wanted more time with these characters and hope we get a book 2 to expand on the world built in this novel.

I really wound up loving this concluding novel in this series. I also think that this book did a super effective reason to complete this series. However it did not wow me as a world wrap up up book. I really loved seeing how this story ended for Apolo. I thought this book had a super nice balance between battle and also all the important locations in the world. I loved the ending where we checked in on all the characters of the world at the very end. I LOVED how grief still played a important part in this story and really effected all the characters but def Apollo. Very good read!

I really wound up enjoying this read so much! I thought it was a great retelling of emma with a modern twist. I really grew to love these characters and loved all the side characters. It was a book that for being so short still kicked me in the emotions. I loved emma as a character and really felt for her. I also loved the app contest at the heart of this book and also the many side characters that we meet. It became a friendship group that I really loved! Would def read more books set by this author for sure!

I really did love this read. I loved how to this book built on the world but also expanded the magic system in this read. I also really loved how owen grew in this book. I became so emotionally invested in both own and evie realtionship. I also loved the new characters that we meet and how the world was built. It was super fun read with a nice balance between the war elements that i don't always love and the politices that I adored. The end of this book was such a hard read for ship but I am really excited for book 3.

I really did like this read. I actually prefer book 2 to the first book in this series. I really loved how we got the OG shadowunter gang back for this read. I also loved how to explored a time period that we have not seen before directly after simon time in the shadow hunter academy. I was much more invested in the mystery this time. This book def made me smile but it is also super funny. I really liked how this story built magnus and alec realtionship. I also like how this book forced Mangus to use a team and really loved the setting. I also really liked the villain and loved how magnus past was also at the heart of it. I can't wait for book 3.

I really wound up enjoying this read. It was groundhog day meets christmas every day. I really loved the main character and how this features a blast from the past romance. But it was prefect Christmas elements. I also really enjoyed how this book did have the elements of a found family that I really enjoyed in this read! It is a element that you don't always see in contempory reads. i thought this was such a fun Christmas read and think it is def one of my favorites of theirs.

I really loved this wicked world and loved the witchy world. I also was super invested in the mystery. It was such a fast pace read. However because it was such a fast pace story, it sometimes was harder to follow the storyline at points. I grew to the love the pairing at the heart of it. It was such a great read, and the mystery at the heart got me. I really am excited for book 2!

I thought this book was impactful and such a important read. It is graphic novel created from his other work. I thought this book was super impactful and dealt with so many topics that are just not talked about like gun violence and cycle of violence and loss. I am also was so captured by the graphic style and just caught my heart. Will made my heart hurt and it just made me angry. but also like a solid look into a experience, i have no knowledge of.

* I got this arc for review from the publisher for my honest thoughts*

This book was the warm hug that I needed. I loved how much this book dived into the importance of found family. I liked all all the vanderbeekers kids were dealing with different issues that so scream to me as hopping in middle school. I really think this book was such a joy to read, but also tackled harder issues like grief, and complicated family daynamics. This book made me miss NYC so much and i can't wait to see how this series ends in book 5!
