* I got this book for review from the publisher*

This book was such a refreshing read. I really loved the how this story took the goose girl myth and really made it unique fast pace story. I was super invested in this story and the characters. I was also really invested in the court politics and they world building around the blood magic. This book was a lighter fantasy but one that really captured my heart. I thought the ending was rushed and could have been fleshed out a tad more but I am def excited for book 2!

Overall I enjoyed this book. I really did love the new setting and also the new character dymancics. Even thought this book was fast pace at points, it has slower parts that just did not compelling me to keep picking it up. I did like the duel time line in this book, and found it to be a fun element of the novel. I felt like throughout this novel I sometimes got lost in the details. I think this book struggled t captured my attention but I was happy to read the conclusion to this series.

I was really impressed with this book. I was not the biggest fan of with malice, but this book was actually a super gripping mystery that kept me turning the page. I really enjoyed the concept of this book and also the setting of london. I also like the romantic sub plot and also the main character was super compelling to read from. I thought the character was super interesting to read from and was hard to put the book down. This book ending was a bit openish but overall i really enjoyed this read.

I actually really enjoyed this book. I loved the tie backs and seeing the characters from love life and the list. I really loved the book. I am always a sucker for books on a that have movie/t.v show set theme and I really enjoyed this book. I thought this book was super fun and light read. I just enjoyed it. I really loved the elements of mystery tossed in and super excited to see what the last book in this mini series is about! I enjoyed this read!

I really enjoyed this book. I really adored the setting of this book so much and that is mostly because i am dying to visit Italy. I had previously and read love and luck and new the ending of this book was no shock but I really loved getting to the end of this novel. I really love the use of the journal and how that created two timelines. I also really loved the elements of grief in this story and how it was handled. I really flew through this book and the subtle mystery was a nice thing that kept me reading. I hope to read more by this author in the future.

I want to be more invested in this series. I really did like the world buiding and just how she creates the world and the characters. The mystery just did now wow me yet again. I felt for a book that included murder in the title, murder was jut not the focus of this novel and I just wanted more out of this novel. After 24 books in the series, i am in for the long haul!

I actually found this to be a super realistic read. I actually loved the focus on art/ music and also on how this book had super well crated ending. I also enjoyed how this book focused a lot on passion and what makes us want to create or partake in the arts. I really did like the female lead in this story and found her POV to super well done. I normally love duel POV novels and event thought i would have enoyey it, I did enjoy her being the only voice in my head. I really liked the pacing of this novel as well and the unique family dynamics present.

This book did not wow me. I thought the concept was cool and I normally love books about falling in love with a movie star but I felt like this book was not unique in any way. I wanted to feel more connected to the main characters. It literally felt like reading a "romantic comedy" but because thy kept pointing out the elements in the novel, It just made me more obvious what the situations were. I liked the side characters and was invested to finish it, but it took me awhile to read. I would consider reading more by this author in the future maybe.

I normally always like this books by this author and this book did not disappoint me. I really was so invested in this story and also the characters. I also really liked the duel POV for these characters. Also the concepts of traveling throughout america was a really fun troup that kept me engaged from page one. The characters themselves a budding film maker and a setuplet was such a awesome paring. It made me really happy this book. I read it rather fast and really enjoyed it. I loved how this book tackled alot of self discovery issues on both sides of the story. I really enjoyed this read and thought it was a prefect summer themed read!

I really enjoyed this mystery book. I was equally invested in both time lines and really liked how the stories had subtle connections between them. I really also love the setting of this novel and found the book to have a creepy setting but so unique. I also really liked the main character in this novel and felt she was a very modern sherlock holmes. I normally struggle with characters like this on the likability scale, but I really liked her thought out the novel. I really hope in future books we will explore here friends a tad more. This book was also super well paced and had a hard time putting it down. I am really excited for book 2!
